Fendi by Karl Lagerfeld SS 2008 Runway Black Cut Out Dress Cape Skirt Set

From the Spring/Summer 2008 Fendi collection by Karl Lagerfeld, this set is made from multicoloured silk and suede. It features a gorgeous three-piece set. The cape features several black lines of appliqué that create a butterfly-like display as it swings around the arms and shoulders. At the neckline, it can be secured by one button and falls openly to the waistline in the front. The mini dress features the same pattern with the strips graduating from narrow at the straight neckline to denser as the pattern culminates at the waist. The underskirt falls to the low calf, so it can be seen from underneath the dress. It is lined with three layers of tulle that support the silhouette. It fits promptly at the waist with a wide waistband that closes at the centre back with two buttons and an invisible zip. It has very minimal signs of use, such as some mild wear on the cape.
