Background
From a 2021 Issey Miyake collection, this dress is made from yellow-toned polyester. It features sheer yellow organza with copper stripes throughout. The shoulder straps transition into a geometric neckline that frames the décolletage, which then splays out into a full trapeze silhouette. Due to the cut and drape of the organza, the stripes form an optical chevron pattern. It has a handkerchief hem just below the knee. On the interior, this dress contains 6 polonaise drawstrings cased exquisitely inside French seams that allow for the dress to be scrunched up and raise the hem, allowing for slightly different styling. It can fit a variety of body sizes.
