Background
From the Spring/Summer 2003 Plein Sud collection, this skirt is made from blue-toned cotton. It features a fitted upper panel and sharply engineered pleats that open into a sculpted, flared hem. Exposed topstitching traces the construction throughout, while the deliberately frayed edge leaves the denim raw and tactile. Classic five-pocket detailing and a leather back patch retain the language of traditional jeans within a more architectural silhouette. It has very minimal signs of vintage use.
